PDX Gravity Race Brings Diecast Racing Action to Philippine Diecast Expo 2026

MANILA, Philippines — For many collectors, the thrill of diecast has always been about the hunt—finding that elusive model, completing a series, or finally getting a prized piece into the collection.

At the Philippine Diecast Expo 2026, however, some of those cars are coming off the display shelf and heading straight to the racetrack.

The PDX Gravity Race, presented by Ask Bro and B2B Carshow Jr., is set to bring another interactive attraction to the Philippine Diecast Expo on November 14 and 15, 2026, at SMX Convention Center Manila, Function Room 5.

And this time, collectors won’t just be asking, “What did you find?”

They’ll be asking, “How fast is your car?”

From collecting to competing

Gravity racing takes the familiar diecast car and turns it into a competitor. Cars race down specially designed tracks powered by gravity, where speed, preparation—and sometimes a little luck—determine who reaches the finish line first.

It is simple enough for newcomers to appreciate but competitive enough to get serious racers studying their cars and looking for every possible advantage.

That combination makes the PDX Gravity Race a natural addition to an expo built around Cars, Culture and Lifestyle.

“Diecast collecting has always been more than owning miniature cars. There is a community around it—the hunting, trading, customizing, storytelling and friendships that develop among collectors. With the Gravity Race, we want to add another dimension to that experience: actually putting the cars on the track and having fun competing with fellow enthusiasts,” said the Philippine Diecast Expo organizers.

An experience for collectors and families

The race also reflects a bigger direction for PDX: transforming the traditional collector event into an experience that visitors can actively participate in.

A father who grew up playing with diecast cars can now bring his children and introduce them to the same excitement. Long-time collectors can put their favorite racers to the test. Newcomers can discover that there is much more to the hobby than simply displaying cars.

And when several cars line up at the starting gate, age and collection size suddenly matter a lot less.

Everyone watches the same starting lights.

Everyone waits for the release.

And for a few seconds, everyone becomes a race fan.

That shared experience is precisely what Philippine Diecast Expo hopes to create.

Part of a bigger PDX experience

The PDX Gravity Race joins the growing lineup of attractions being prepared for Philippine Diecast Expo 2026, an event designed to bring together diecast collectors, automotive enthusiasts and different car and collector communities under one roof.

PDX carries the positioning “Cars • Culture • Lifestyle,” expanding the convention experience beyond buying and selling collectibles and into the broader culture surrounding cars and the people who love them.

The event is expected to feature collectibles, exhibitors, community activities and automotive-related experiences throughout the two-day expo.

With the Gravity Race, PDX is adding something particularly familiar to anyone who has ever placed a toy car at the top of a track, counted down and waited to see which one would reach the bottom first.

The technology may have changed. The cars may have become more collectible. The competition may be more organized.

But that excitement hasn’t disappeared.
